Caring is for all ages: from child care to senior care Print E-mail

Caring for oneself and for others is an essential component of life across all ages. For example, when it comes to child care, services may be provided directly by parents and indirectly by grandparents, relatives, teachers, or nannies or au pairs. And conversely, sometimes, it is the seniors (ie, senior care ) who may also need caring from the younger ones such as their children. On the other end of the spectrum, there is that kind of care that is often associated with the service provided by health care professionals or caregivers as in long-term facilities, eg, skilled nursing facilities or nursing homes.

Whether it's care or caring, the most important part is the element of genuine concern for another. Planting the seeds via the golden rule (ie, doing unto others what one wants others to do likewise) early in life may ensure a better harvest of care in the sunset years.
