The prenatal and infancy/toddler stages represent the earliest phases of an individual's life.  Parents face an exciting and challenging time in taking care of their very young loved ones at this phase. Parents love to shower their kids with toys, sometimes "overdoing" it as they want to provide them with the things that they never had before at that age.
