Take care of yourself: Always high priority |

January 2009 has been a rather challenging month, with its ups and downs. On the economic front, not so bright news have dotted the landscape. A bright spot has been the inauguration of US President Barack Obama, with all the promise of better things with the caveat that each and everyone will have to do their share in the recovery. Speaking of recovery, this week in our family was marked by 2 separate hospital admissions for uncles who are in their senior years - both in their 70's, 1 for a GI-related condition and the other for a diabetes-related complication. Fortunately, both of them have now been discharged from the hospital.
In hard economic times, one of the best things is to take care of yourself and approach it always as a high priority, top priority even. Staying young entails a disciplined and determined will backed by action. We need o eat the right meals and complement diet with regular exercise. The cold can sometimes deter us from doing physical activity, especially outdoors, but we juist have to be consistent and maintain the rhythm. Take care of yourself and treat it always as a high priority. No one else can do it for you as they have their own bodies to deal with!
