When getting a cheap seat is great! Print E-mail

In economics, almost everything hypothetically has a price, and such concept also applies to entertainment. Value comes from what is perceived to be the appropriate worth or price that we would be willing to part with our money to watch a certain presentation or feature.

Getting a cheap seat can be considered as a "bonus" especially when the show generates a lot of attention or is in heavy demand. Of course, the location of the venue can also be a factor. For example, in Boston, TD Banknorth Garden tickets are particularly hot when the National Basketball Association (NBA) team Boston Celtics or the National Football League's Boston Bruins have a good season or are in the playoffs. In the neighboring New England state of Rhode Island, Dunkin Donuts Center tickets may be hard to come by when there are cool shows by concert stars such as Demi Lovato. And, when in Atlanta, Georgia, especially in the summer, Chastain Park Amphitheatre tickets for concerts are also as hot as the climate so to speak.

Remember, when it comes to attending live performances, getting a cheap seat not only allows one to save money but also the memories that go with having a good time!

Live to the Max

According to Benjamin Franklin - publisher, networker, scientist, inventor, and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States – “.....the way to wealth, if you desire it, is as plain as the way to market. It depends chiefly on two words, industry and frugality; that is waste neither time nor money, but make the best of both. Without industry and frugality, nothing will do, and with them everything.” The road to riches is filled with challenges but the right decisions at the right time and at the right place can spell the difference.

Although Franklin’s book The Way to Wealth was one of, if not the most, famous books that came out of colonial America, the resonant theme of doing well by doing good remains true even to this day.
