For most of us, shopping ranks among our popular weekend activities. Whether it is for essentials, clothing, or even items of luxury, shopping represents an economic exercise or function that assumes many meanings that go beyond the simple act of buying.

Selection of products, such as those related to fashion or clothing, or services and making the best decision precede the actual event. Shopping can be done on a whim or sometimes may also be the culmination of a long process of savings and preparation. Conventionally, shopping is done in brick and mortar stores, and in the internet era another growing avenue is via virtual stores (eg, online malls or online shopping sites).

The important thing after shopping is that one feels good with the choice and also satisfied with the thought that what one purchased is worth the value. That way, shopping is not just an escape or an alibi, but as an avenue of fulfillment and satisfaction.
