A great recession survivor's roar for inner strength and hope for better times Print E-mail

Generally, a good book is not just better than its cover but imparts valuable information that can be beneficial to the readers. Additional dose of credibility comes when the author himself or herself has experienced first-hand the basic elements of the concept being advanced.  Such is the case with Kevin Daum, author, marketer, and Inc. 500 entrepreneur, in his forthcoming book (with Daniel Turner): Roar! Get heard in the sales and marketing jungle - a business fable.  More details on Kevin's book are provided at awesomeroar.com.

Aside from drawing from his personal experience of surviving the great recession which had temporarily affected his business but from which he has bounced back, Kevin Daum is a graduate of the MIT Entrepreneurial Executive Leadership program and a longtime member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization where he has served in board positions.  Across 4 continents, Kevin Daum has designed, produced and led award winning executive training programs and events for C-level executives and entrepreneurs.

Self-reliance and providing services that are necessary or indispensable are among the solid foundations and integral components of a solid economic strategy.  Add to this of course time-honored values of hard work, fairness, perseverance, and respect for the very competitive environment but with an eye for opportunities that arise in the face of challenges.

As Kevin Daum has demonstrated and shouted into a roar to be heard, the real power to move ahead lies within ourselves (inner strength), as we transform difficult experiences into positive events, concepts, and ideas, certainly basic ingredients for hope and better times ahead.
