Numbers and statistics provide us concrete tools for quantifying any event or parameter.  Concepts such as probabilities, ratios, risks, percentages, mean, mode, median, and standard deviation play key roles in scientific investigations in medicine and industry.

Yet no matter how important they are, numbers, including statistics problems or statistics questions, have a way of presenting themselves as a challenge for some students.  Individuals who find statistics difficult or not their cup of tea at first glance may benefit from free Statistics help such as may be available online.
