The man honored in this edition of agingbasics.com is Albert Einstein.

Albert Einstein, whose name is synonymous with genius in popular culture, was one of the greatest physicists of our time, a recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921, and was named as the “Person of the Century” by Time magazine in 1999.   Einstein’s greatest renown comes from his work on the theory of relativity, specifically mass-energy equivalence, E= mc2.

John Donne was considered as one of the - if not the – most outstanding English Metaphysical poets of his time (which was in the 1600s).  Donne's literary work combined wit and seriousness and was portrayed in a more personal style compared to what was in vogue at the time.The story of John Donne is akin to the innovators and visionaries of today who go above what is ordinary and look beyond the horizons. This is the same fire that has motivated man to conquer new worlds beyond his shores. We should avoid falling into the false sense of security of our comfort zones. That way, the embers our nascent ideas will transform into flames of action and visible marks of accomplishment and success.
