A blog (which is derived from the words web log) is a website where entries are written chronologically and often also in a reverse chronological order. Blog may also be used as a verb; someone who blogs is called a blogger.

A wiki is a collaborative website that can be directly edited by anyone with access to it. The first wiki was the WikiWikiWeb, which was described as the “simplest online database that could possibly work.”

A bliki, (also known as WikiLog, Wog, WikiWeblog, Wikiblog, or Bloki), is a combination of a blog and a wiki.

Supporters of the current US presidential candidates now resort to doing a blog, wiki, or bliki or other new media avenues to reach out to the people.
